Terms

These terms cover using GamerRenowned, an invite-only test (“alpha”) run by Foundry27 LLC, Michigan, USA. By creating a login you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.

It's an alpha

• The site is free while we test. “Premium Access” during the alpha is free too — there are no payments.
• Things will change, break, or be removed, and data could be lost. We keep backups, but please don't rely on GamerRenowned as the only record of anything important.
• We may end the alpha, or anyone's access, at any time.

Your login

• You must be 13 or older.
• Keep your password to yourself; you're responsible for what happens with your login.
• Invite links are for the person they were sent to — please don't pass them on.

Fair use

• Only link Xbox and Steam accounts that are yours.
• Don't harass other members, impersonate anyone, scrape the site, try to get around limits or other people's privacy settings, or break the site on purpose.
• What you write here (your bio, roadmap names, feedback) must be yours to share and not offensive.

Not affiliated

GamerRenowned isn't affiliated with, or endorsed by, Microsoft, Xbox or Valve. Xbox and the game names, art and achievements shown belong to their owners. Xbox data comes from OpenXBL (see OpenXBL's agreement); Steam data is Powered by Steam. Guide links go to other sites, which have their own terms.

Steam and the Steam logo are trademarks and/or registered trademarks of Valve Corporation in the U.S. and/or other countries. Xbox is a trademark of the Microsoft group of companies.

GamerRenowned was created under Microsoft's “Game Content Usage Rules” using assets from Xbox games, and it is not endorsed by or affiliated with Microsoft. Microsoft's games and their assets are © Microsoft Corporation; other games and their art are © their publishers.

Ads and site totals

GamerRenowned may show ads from advertisers we choose — never for 18+ products. We may share totals across all members with advertisers, such as how many members we have, how many are active, how many link Xbox or Steam, and the games most played on Xbox (only when at least five members play one, and never an adult game or one you've hidden). We never share anything about you, and never your Steam data. The Privacy Policy has the details.

Game data from Xbox and Steam

Achievements, games and other data from Xbox (through OpenXBL) and Steam are shown “as is”: they can be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Neither we nor Valve, Microsoft or OpenXBL make any promise about that data, and to the extent the law allows, none of us is liable for any loss or damage from using it.

No warranty

The site is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, Foundry27 LLCisn't liable for any loss or damage from using it, including lost data.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows when. Continuing to use the site means you accept the update. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA.
